Just 5% VAT if a wood boiler over 7kW
Kit All you need add is copper pipe, joints, bleed valve and glycol & water mixture & day or two's labour.
Look at diagram below and you will see that you can easily combine your existing or new boiler and have an added bio-fuel/log boiler & solar panels. This will cut your oil bill by up to 75%.
Our government have decreed on our behalf that solar kits are at 5% VAT if fitted. This is as always a bit vague.
They have also said that wood boilers are at 5% if fitted and if the boiler is over 7 Kw. I list some boilers that qualify below. (Chimney lining does not qualify as you might take out the wood stove and install a multi fuel or coal burning one?)
